Who we are
Georgie (“we”, “us”) operates the website georgie.help. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this service. You can contact us at hello@georgie.help.
What data we collect
- →Business search query: The business name you type to initiate a scan. We use Google Places API to look up the matching Google Business Profile.
- →Google Business Profile data: Publicly available information returned by the Google Places API: business name, address, phone number, website URL, opening hours, categories, and photos.
- →Email address: Only collected if you purchase the full report. Used to deliver your report by email.
- →Payment information: Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. We do not store your card or bank details. We retain only the Mollie payment ID, amount, status, and timestamp.
- →Audit results: The scores and signal data generated for your business are stored in our database so we can display your score page and (if purchased) your report.
- →Usage data: We use PostHog (EU region) to collect anonymised analytics such as page views and feature usage. No personally identifiable information is sent to PostHog.

Data retention
Audit data (scores, signals, GBP snapshot) is retained for 90 days from the date of the scan, then permanently deleted. If you purchase a report, your email address and payment record are retained for 7 years to comply with Dutch accounting law, then deleted.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. PostHog uses a session cookie solely to count unique sessions for aggregate analytics. No data is shared with advertising networks.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of Georgie after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
